About Our
Boarding Program
Circle of Oaks is open for boarding. We are seeking retired or semi-retired geldings who are calm, good with people, enjoy lots of attention, and would like an unmounted job to do in our program. Our clients are adult women and do not ride when they come to Circle of Oaks. All the work with our horses is done from the ground under the supervision of our Equine-Facilitated Life Coach and our Equine Specialist/CEO. We offer pasture board/stall access with full-service care. Board fee is $300/month. Our facilities include new custom four-stall barn with heated/air-conditioned tack room, two dry lots, 5 acres fescue pastures, grass riding paddock, round pen, and wooded walking/light riding trails. We provide hay and grain, holding for vet and farrier, blanketing/fly masking, and individualized care for our all-gelding herd of no more than four horses. We are located in Rougemont, NC 30 minutes from Durham near Hill Forest.
